Course II: Specific Research and Scientific Communication Skills

University of Geneva
Following the success of our introductory course on research methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies, “Foundations and Data Analysis”, we are delighted to announce the launch of Course II: “Specific Research and Scientific Communication Skills”.
Our online courses offer a unique opportunity for doctoral or pre-doctoral students from partner institutions, as well as other researchers in the field, to hone their methodological and communication skills, and to collaborate with fellow scholars via a one-of-a-kind, interactive on-line platform. Participants will have access to reading materials, individual feedback, discussion threads and plenary lectures, and will be able to organize their work according to their individual schedules.
Registration for Course II is open until 31 January 2017, and the course will officially begin on 20 February. For our first plenary guest lecture, Franz Pöchhacker (University of Vienna), will discuss recent advances in Interpreting Studies.
